Reporting Relationships:

Teachers in WCASD report to school building administrators.  Teachers in WCASD receive professional development and support from a variety of stakeholders, including but not limited to curriculum supervisors, pupil services supervisors, and grade level and content level leaders.  Regardless of their years of experience, teachers who are new to WCASD will participate in teacher induction, which is focused on how teacher looks specifically within our district.

Process

Individuals are invited to apply to all positions in which they are interested.  Individuals are welcome to consider multiple offers.  Once an individual commits to a teacher position in one location for the upcoming school year, they will not be eligible for other teacher positions within the district. In the event that a teacher has the opportunity to return to their previous assignment before June 30, 2026, regardless of their acceptance for their new position, they will be eligible to return.
